🚀 Getting Started

Welcome! You can turn your webcam into a touchless mouse controller that uses hand gestures. This guide will help you download and run the gesture-mouse application easily.

📋 What You Need

Before you download, ensure you meet these requirements:

• Webcam: A USB webcam or a built-in one on your laptop.
• Python: You need Python 3.7 or higher installed on your computer.
• Internet Connection: To download the application and any necessary updates.

📂 Download & Install

1. Visit this page to download the application: Releases Page.

2. Select the latest version. Look for a file named something like gesture_mouse_vX.X.X.zip or similar.

3. Download the file. Click the file to start your download.

4. Extract the files. Once the download finishes, find the ZIP file in your Downloads folder. Right-click on it and select “Extract All” or “Unzip”. Follow the prompts to extract the files.

5. Run the application. Locate the extracted folder. Inside, find the executable file (e.g., gesture_mouse.exe, gesture_mouse.app, or gesture_mouse). Double-click this file to run the application.

💻 How to Use the Application

1. Open the application. Make sure your webcam is connected and active.

2. Set Up the Webcam. You’ll see a preview of what your webcam captures. Position your hands in front of the camera.
